Common Witch & Pagan Greetings

In witchcraft and pagan traditions, greetings often reflect shared spiritual understanding, seasonal energies, or ritual language. Here are some commonly used phrases: “Blessed be” ~ Perhaps the most well-known witch greeting, used as both hello and goodbye. It originates from traditional Wiccan liturgy: “Blessed be thy feet that have brought thee in these ways.” “Merry meet” ~ A joyful way to say hello, often paired with “Merry part, and merry meet again” as a farewell. “Bright blessings” ~ A warm and positive greeting, wishing light and good energy to the recipient. Seasonal blessings, such as: “Blessed Ostara,” “Blessed Samhain,” “Happy Yule,” etc., used during sabbats. “Happy full moon” or “New moon blessings” during lunar phases. “Well met” ~ A Renaissance-inspired greeting still embraced by many in pagan circles. “Hail and welcome” ~ A formal phrase commonly used to begin rituals or ceremonies. “May the Goddess bless you” ~ Or variations depending on one’s deities or pantheon. The greeting someone chooses often reflects their personal path, coven tradition, or spiritual focus. Many witches use everyday language outside of ritual spaces, reserving magical greetings for fellow practitioners or special occasions. ✍️ Journaling Prompt What rituals or seasonal moments already hold meaning for me, even if I’ve never called them “magical”? How might I honor them more intentionally this year? In a fast-paced world, ritual is an act of rebellion ~ a sacred pause to remember what matters, who we are, and what we’re becoming…. Walking the Crone Path: Embracing Wisdom, Power, and Magic in Our Own Time

There comes a point in life where we stop seeking permission to be who we are, and begin, finally, to step fully into our own power. For many of us, this moment arrives not in youth, but later in life. That’s the path of the Crone. A path that is often misunderstood, but deeply sacred. The Crone is one of the most ancient archetypes in myth and magic. She is not a symbol of decay, but of transformation. She is the one who sees beyond surface appearances, who knows that answers aren’t always loud or flashy. She walks slowly, deliberately, with eyes that have seen grief and joy alike, and with a heart that holds space for both. In today’s world, we’re rarely taught to value aging. But in magical practice, age is not a weakness. It is a source of spiritual authority. The Crone carries the stories of generations. She knows when to speak and when to listen. Her spells are woven with intention, her rituals rooted in experience. I didn’t set out to walk the Crone path. I grew into it. Over the past few years, I’ve returned to the spirit world with new questions, new curiosity, and a desire to find what truly resonates. What I found was not a single answer, but a thousand doorways, and a realization that many others are quietly searching too. That’s why CraftTalk exists. For those of us who are done pretending we need to have it all figured out. For those who learn not just from books, but from the earth, from intuition, from each other. This is a space to explore freely, without judgment or hierarchy. You don’t need to know everything. You only need to be open. So if you’ve ever felt too old, too late, or too unsure, know this: You are exactly on time. Welcome to the Crone path. We’ve been waiting for you. Crone Affirmation I honor the wisdom I’ve earned through living.I release the need to rush, to prove, or to please.I trust my intuition, my pace, and my truth.I walk the Crone path with grace and power.I am not fading – I am becoming…. Taking the Leap: A Witch’s Journey into the Unknown

Today, I did something that terrifies and exhilarates me in equal measure. I walked away from the safety net. No job waiting on the other side. No steady paycheck to catch me if I fall. Just me, my craft, and an unwavering belief that the universe has been whispering this path to me for far too long to ignore. To make it even bigger… I just signed the paperwork to buy a property.  Not just any property, but I will post more on that as I go along. The Tower Moment If you know anything about tarot, you know The Tower isn’t a card we welcome with open arms. It’s the card of upheaval, of structures crumbling, of necessary destruction that clears the way for something new. That’s where I am right now – standing in the rubble of what was safe, what was predictable, what was slowly suffocating my spirit. But here’s what I’m learning: sometimes The Tower isn’t something that happens to you. Sometimes, you become The Tower yourself. You make the choice to bring down the walls you’ve been hiding behind. Trusting the Craft I’m putting everything into what CraftTalk can help me build. Not just a survival mechanism, not just a brand – but a genuine space for witches, seekers, and spiritual wanderers to find what they need. Resources. Community. Real magic woven through every word and every connection. Is it terrifying? Absolutely. Do I have all the answers? Not even close. But I have something more powerful than certainty – I have trust. Trust in my abilities. Trust in the work I’ve been doing in the shadows. Trust in the divine timing that brought me to this exact moment. The Magic of Surrender There’s a particular kind of magic that only reveals itself when you let go completely. When you stop clinging to what you think you need and open your hands to receive what you’re meant to have. I’ve done my divination. I’ve meditated on this decision. I’ve asked for signs, and the universe has been practically shouting at me. Every card pull, every synchronicity, every gut feeling has been pointing in this direction. So today, I’m listening. What Comes Next I don’t know exactly what the next chapter looks like. I’m writing it as I go, one courageous decision at a time. But I know it involves building something real, something meaningful, something that serves the witchy community I love so much. CraftTalk is my cauldron, and I’m brewing something potent. Will you walk this path with me? I promise to share the highs and the lows, the manifestations and the lessons, the magic and the mundane reality of building a life aligned with purpose. Here’s to leaps of faith. Here’s to trusting the craft. Here’s to becoming our own magic. What leaps of faith are you being called to take? Send me a message – I’d love to hear your story….
