Part 15 : Witchism lives in the mundane. It’s the way I cook, clean, speak, rest. Magic doesn’t always need ceremony.
Part 16 : There were times I felt disconnected. But even in stillness, the magic was there, just waiting, quiet, patient.
Part 17 : Naming myself “witch” was a return to something ancient. Witchism taught me that power doesn’t have to be loud. It can be rooted, soft, fierce.
Part 18 : There’s no straight line to spiritual growth. My journey has zigzagged through grief, joy, doubt, and awe. And it’s still unfolding.
Part 19 : Start where you are. Trust your curiosity. You don’t need to know everything. Witchism will meet you wherever you’re willing to begin.
Part 20 : My journey toward witchism isn’t finished—it’s evolving. What began as a whisper is now a steady rhythm in my life. One I follow, honor, and share.
Today marks another Friday the 13th, and while most people shudder at the mention of this date, practitioners of the craft know there's far more magic than misfortune woven into this mysterious day.
You’ve done everything right. You lit the candle, said the spell, pulled your cards, whispered your intention under a full moon. Or maybe you just prayed, journaled, or held a quiet hope in your chest for weeks. And yet… nothing. No sign. No shift. No answer. It can feel like the universe is ignoring you. Like your voice got lost in the cosmic shuffle. And that ache, that quiet fear that maybe your magic doesn’t work, or worse, that you don’t matter, is something many of us have sat with. First, if you’re here: I see you. I’ve been you. And often I am you. The truth is, the universe isn’t Amazon Prime. It doesn’t guarantee two-day delivery on manifestation. And it’s rarely as straightforward as “ask and receive.” Sometimes our timing is off. Sometimes what we want isn’t aligned with what we need. And sometimes, the response is happening. But it’s subtle, unfolding in the background, or teaching us patience through the waiting. You’re Not Doing It Wrong It’s tempting to blame ourselves. Maybe I didn’t focus hard enough. Maybe I forgot a step. Maybe my energy was off. But let’s be clear: magic isn’t a vending machine, and spirituality isn’t about performance. Your worth is not measured by how fast your spell manifests. Your power isn’t lost just because you’re in a quiet season. Signs Don’t Always Look the Way We Expect We ask for clarity and expect a lightning bolt. But often, signs come as small nudges: a line in a book, a phrase from a stranger, a gut feeling that won’t leave you alone. The universe speaks in symbols, synchronicities, and timing that doesn’t always make sense until later. Don’t be afraid to widen your lens. Silence Can Be Sacred When it’s quiet, it doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Think of seeds underground, doing invisible work before the first green shoot appears. This stillness might be asking you to rest, to listen inward, or to shift directions. The pause isn’t punishment. It’s part of the rhythm. What You Can Do Right Now Ground yourself. Go outside. Breathe. Put your hands on the earth or your heart. Come back to your body. Reaffirm your intention. Gently, without pressure. Light a candle. Speak it again. Not because the universe forgot, but because you are remembering. Notice small shifts. Keep a journal. Track synchronicities. Celebrate movement, no matter how small. Talk to your guides, ancestors, or spirit team. Ask for clarity. Ask for patience. Ask for reminders that you’re supported. Be open to being redirected. Sometimes, not getting what you asked for is the most protective kind of magic. You’re not alone in this. Every practitioner, mystic, witch, or seeker has known the sting of silence. But keep going. Keep asking. Keep listening. The universe hears even the whispers. Especially the whispers. And eventually, it answers. If the words aren’t coming – light a candle, close your eyes, and just breathe. Sometimes the clarity arrives in stillness, not sound…. Membership Required You must be a member to access this content.View Membership LevelsAlready a member? Log in here...
There's something magnetic about certain oracle decks that draws you in before you even understand why. For me, that pull came from the **W.I.T.C.H – Women in Total Control of Herself** Oracle deck by Angi Sullins, featuring stunning artwork by Silas Toball.
